The full form of CMAT is Common Management Aptitude Test. It is an exam that is held at the national level. Students who wish to pursue a post graduation course in the field of management prefer to sit for this exam, with the hope that they can get into any of the B-schools of the country that accept the CMAT score. Once you sit for this exam and get yourself enrolled at a reputed B-school, you will automatically be placed at the manager level. The CMAT is usually held in the last week of February and it is hoped that the CMAT Exam 2012 will be held during the time frame, though the exact date hasn’t been announced yet.

Applicants who wish to sit for the CMAT have to graduates in any field from a recognized university with a UGC status. However students who are appearing their final year are also eligible to sit for the CMAT. There is no upper limit of age for applicants who wish to sit for the CMAT.
