Mandarmani is one of the largest sea side villages in West Bengal which is recently rediscovered as a soothing holiday destination for tourists. Located in the northern end of the Bay of Bengal, Mandarmani is debated as the longest drivable beach in India. The most popular festival of Mandarmani is Durga Puja that continues for ten long days during the month of September or October. During this festival people offer prayers to Goddess Durga and celebrate Her blessings to the core. This Mandarmani festival invites tourists from every corner of the country and avails them to enjoy the beautiful beach town amidst the colorful festivity going over the town. Thus, a visit to Mandarmani during festival offers the tourists a life time experience to enjoy the glory of culture and tradition along with exploring the natural glories of the town.
