Gangtok, the largest town of Indian state Sikkim is situated in the Shivalik hills of eastern Himalayas at an altitude of 1,437 meters. Also the procession of priests provides a spectacular view of holiness. Phang Lhabsol is a Gangtok festival celebrated in the honor of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Dasain on the other hand is a festival celebrating the victory of good over evil which is sacred for both the Hindus and the Buddhists.
