It's often difficult to obtain a truly clean kitchen. It's not hard, given the heavy use of most kitchens, to dirty your kitchen cabinet doors, kitchen faucets and kitchen countertops. You're not alone. I had this same problem - until I discovered these 5 kitchen cleaning tips.

1. To start on the road to a clean kitchen you need to get organized. To start, take items on your kitchen countertops and place them below the sink and into cabinets and draws.

2. Step 2 is to get rid of excess items. Mentally note the areas that have the greatest congestion of utensils, dishes, foodstuffs, etc. and concentrate on straightening up these areas each day. This is less time consuming than it sounds. Once you become accustomed to cleaning these areas, it won't take a lot of time to do so.

3. Put together a to do list of cleaning activities and place it in the kitchen where you'll always see it like on your kitchen cabinet doors or kitchen countertops. Commit to crossing at least one item off the list each day.

4. If you're like most people, you'll find cleaning your kitchen faucets ...
... and sinks troublesome. Before bed each night put the dirty dishes into the dishwasher. Then quickly scrub the kitchen faucets and sinks.

5. Remember your kitchen tile. Gently wipe the kitchen tile with a non-abrasive cleaner. The grout may require harsher scrubbing as dirt can stick there. However, you'll need to clean the grout infrequently.

You'll soon find that cleaning your kitchen is easy once you begin to follow these steps. A clean kitchen is only a few steps away!
