Why Children Always Want To Buy New Toys
Recall whether or not your baby is always the case: when get a new toy, baby plays with it a few minutes and then ignore it and would not touch again. Baby's desire for new toys can never be filled like a bottomless pit, and this makes parents headache. This article makes objective analysis on the secrets of baby's endless "greed" of toys and lists the following five reasons.
Firstly, Liking novel things is the baby's nature. Interest of novelty is human nature. Baby's has relatively short attention spans, so a new toy's attraction to him will not last long, and he will soon focus on other things, and then lose interest in toys on hand. Baby likes to play new toys and likes games of something new, this is his nature.
Secondly, parents depend too much on toys to comfort baby. When Mom and Dad are busy with work, especially study while working, they usually do not have time to play with baby. In order to let baby stay alone quietly and make themselves some time, many parents might depend on a few toys to take the responsibility that should have been their own. This will lead to baby a sense of dependence on toys ...
... and they will make more demands to buy new toys.
Thirdly, Baby doesn't know how to play or lacks of creative play. Baby might simply not know how to play with when get a new toy. Especially those toys not the right age to play, baby will meet even more difficult to manage it. This will reduce their interest in toys. In addition, even if the baby grasp playing method of a toy, they cannot find a creative way to some new play, or parents offer baby toys that do not meet the age and characteristics of their mental development, he will soon lose interest in this toy and then requires to buy a new toy.
Last but not least, Parents are always unconditionally meeting the needs of baby. Some parents spoil baby, as long as the baby has requirements, they would try to meet immediately. Thus the baby develops habit of requiring new things frequently.
Finally, parents underestimate the bearing capability of baby. Sometimes it is not the problem of baby, but parents ourselves cannot stand the helpless state of baby when he could only look at the others playing toys. In fact, the baby's ability to adapt is much better than we could imagine. He might be crying for not getting a toy, but after a second, he might be attracted by other things and soon forget that his desire. Often it is parents that cannot adapt to, and it is their indulgence that forms baby such "greed" habit.
