I have been trying to avert this stage for weeks now, but as a result of all the decorating in the bedroom, the dusty and paint stained carpet, couldn't stay any longer.

So I decided it was time to visit the showroom to discover the range of flooring available to me. I was hoping to find the most appropriate flooring for my room, something that looked stylish and authentic, without the monumental price tag.

Stains can obviously be mopped up easier and dust can be swept up including the odd dog hair. The sales representatives advised me to keep my dogs nails trimmed to prevent scratches on my new flooring. I even got to take a sample back home and after days of pondering I decided to take the plunge and get a wooden floor in my bedroom.

Many friends already have wooden flooring, but there are so many varieties. From traditional wood like Ash and Oak all the way to lacquered wood and bamboo, all of which look great and can add a twist to any room. Whilst browsing I also had a sneak peak at the range of tiles and laminate flooring and I think I have already found the perfect floor for my kitchen!!
