Apple cider vinegar is one of the effective home remedies. All you have to do is cut a paper in the shape of a heel and soak it in apple cider vinegar. Try this daily for next four to five days and see the effects of it.

Chlorinated water is also helpful in bringing down the inflammation and relieving the pain. Drinking alfalfa tea more than twice a day on regular basis is helpful in decreasing the pain and discomfort. Applying a mixture of baking soda, molasses and apple cider vinegar is one of the effective home remedies.

Orthopedic molds are quite effective in treating heel spurs. They are easily available in market. Just place these molds under the heel in your shoes on regular basis. It will give you relief from the abnormal situation. Always keep in mind to reduce the pressure on your feet by means of some weight management exercises. Strengthen your calf muscles and the muscles of the lower part of your legs by calf exercises.
