Interview With Steve Jobs Will Be Shown In The Theaters Of The Us
According to the reports from foreign media, a documentary about Steve Jobs will be screened in the Landmark Theaters in parts of the U.S. from November 16.
Steve Jobs, the co-founder and former CEO of Apple, died suddenly last month, prompting the only authorized biography by Steve Job—“Steve Jobs Biography” being released in advance, but also making a record of the interview which is said to have disappeared again surfaced.
The documentary titled “Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview” will be screened on November 16 and November 17 in Landmark Theatres of 19 U.S. cities. This interview between Steve Jobs and technology celebrity Robert Cringely was shot in 1995, and the time of the interview is 70 minutes. In fact, the interview was shot for the program of the U.S. Public Broadcasting Service (PBS)—“Triumph of the Nerds: The Rise of Accidental Empires”.
The documentary is divided into three parts. It focuses on the establishment of personal computing industry including Steve Jobs criticized Microsoft and its products. The documentary material obtained by U.S. technology blog site VentureBeat ...
... showed that: “Being frank and controversial, this interesting interview about a dialogue with old friend is by far the most exciting television interview received by Steve Jobs. However, less than 10 minutes of the interview was broadcasted and the remaining 59 minutes disappeared forever because the masters were lost in transition.”
It is reported that recently the tapes were found in London. Later, Cringely contacted with Mark Kuban—the cinema operator of Landmark Theatres and co-owner of Wagner / Cuban Company, hoping this interview will be presented before the audience.
The documentary will be shown at 19:15 and 21:00 on November 16 and November 17, and the cities that will show the interview including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berkeley, Seattle, San Diego, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Minneapolis, Chicago, Indianapolis, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, Baltimore, Atlanta and Milwaukee.
