As the 2nd largest city in Malaysia, travel Kuala Lumpur has become popular and exciting. When you travel Kuala Lumpur you will learn that it is the capital of Malaysia and has managed to grow from a small mining community to an enterprising metropolitan city in a millennium and a half.

To travel Kuala Lumpur will result in reasonably priced sheik five star hotels, exclusive inexpensive shopping and exquisite cuisine along with numerous iconic sightseeing locations that display Malaysias culture and beauty.

Travel Kuala Lumpur is home of some beautiful architecture and is the 6th most visited city in the world. While visiting the area, some great iconic sights to view are; Petronas Twin Towers, Petaling Street, Masjid Jamek and Gombak/Klang river confluence, National Monument, National Mosque, skyline of Kuala Lumpur.

City Centre-This is the heartbeat of Kuala Lumpur and was the home of the former colonial administrative centre. Visit the Merdeka Square (Independence Square), Selangor Club and Sultan Abdul Samad building to take in the cities culture and vitality. Tuanku Abdul Rahman/Chow Kit- Directly next to The Golden Triangle and known for its budget hotel and shopping. Very popular sites for those that travel Kuala Lumpur and the Tuanku Abdul Rahman/Chow Kit- are the grand Putra World Trade Centre and the Kampung Baru.

Damansara and Hartamas- These two districts are west of the city and tend to be mostly suburban in content. There are some unique places to eat and drink to socialize and relax.

Ampang- Located east of the city, Ampang is home to Kuala Lumpurs Little Korea and most foreign embassies.

Northern suburbs – This huge area to the north of the city centre are grounds to many favorite attractions. The Batu Caves are one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan. The National Zoo, the first national zoo in Malaysia is a great place for the entire family. For the Science and Nature fans, the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia is home to cutting edge research and advancements.
