"There are many men and women out there who are part of a major business and have a lot of important places they need to fly to all the time, and purchasing a private executive jet may seem like the best route for them to take. You could very well have a business appointment that you need to fly to each and every week or you could just want to be able to get away from everything whenever you have a little time off, or you could have some other good excuses for owning a jet for your personal use.

This type of aircraft is by no means cheap, so before you simply decide on one method for having one or another, you need to go over all of the different options that are available to you, like charters or fractional owner programs. There is no shortage of things that you will have to contemplate for a while, so for the most part you will probably find this to be an incredibly difficult decision to actually make.

Obviously, the first thing that most people will want to start looking at is all the different prices that they would have to pay for the different options, and since many long term expenses are involved, ...
... ownership can be incredibly costly. However, if you fly pretty regularly, owning a jet may be the smartest way to go since it will be easier for you to get on your jet and go to where you need to be. On the other hand, if you find that you don't fly that frequently, you could very well be better off just hiring charter jets to fly you where you need to be for a fraction of the cost.

If you do come to find that it would make the most sense for you to actually own a jet, you could look into fractional ownership as a workable option for having easy access to a private aircraft. The great part about this type of program is that you will have access to your own personal jet for only a fraction of the cost, but the bad side is that you will also have to schedule your flights around those of your fellow owners and you'll have extra expenses to pay for.

If outright ownership or even fractional ownership are not in your budget or simply not practical, you can always just rent yourself a private aircraft through a local charter company. Either way you go, you will be able to travel on board an executive jet that is all about making sure that you are comfortable and where you need to be when you need to be there.
