Flatulence is related with the emission of the gases which are present in the intestine. It is released under pressure accompanied by a sound and a foul odor. Sometimes it may become a cause of great social embarrassment. Some of the most common symptoms of flatulence which is popularly known as gas are excessive expulsion of wind, feeling of bloating and discomfort, belching and pain in the abdomen. The causes of flatulence are very common and mainly it is caused due to dietary reasons. If any person suffers from the problem of digestion of certain foods then it may result into flatulence. Sometimes it may be caused due to lactose intolerance, due to intake of foods which are heavy in carbohydrates. Flatulence is not a serious problem and can be easily treated with the help of natural remedies. Some of the important home remedies for curing flatulence are:

4. Don't make a habit to drink water during the meals as it will weaken your digestive system.

5. Use of peppermint is also very much effective in treating the problem of flatulence. It cures the problem of gas as well as refreshes our breath also.

6. You can also try this remedy. Take a cup of warm water and add half tsp of dry ginger powder and also a pinch of asafetida as well as rock salt. Drink this mix as it is very effective in providing you relief from gas.

7. Take a tsp of honey and add a drop of dill oil. In order to treat flatulence, take this mix after every meal.

8. Take I tsp of grinded pepper, 1 tsp of dry ginger powder and also 1 tsp of dry ginger and 1 tsp of green cardamom seeds. Take half tsp of this mixture in water and drink it after one hour of your meal.
