What Is Lean Body Mass And How To Build It?
A lot of people have a misconception regarding lean body mass. It’s not the same thing as the ideal weight. It simply shows you the weight of your bones, muscles and organs, everything besides fat. Some people would like to have not fat, but there is no such thing. There are some arithmetical formulas that are supposed to show us the weight of a lean body.

Naturally this is only one of the methods, and there are some other mathematical formulas as well.

In case you would like to achieve lean body mass you will have to focus on strengthening your body. Engage the major muscle groups, like the quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings, chest, back, shoulders, abdominals and arms.
You should be burning more calories than you consume. Remember regarding lean muscle that no matter what activity you perform, you burn calories. This way you will be able to reveal the hidden muscles.
The workout that you have should also include cardiovascular exercises to achieve a lean body. In case you opt for aerobic exercises, you will be able to increase the number of calories that you burn and you can also increase your endurance.
If you would like to reveal lean muscle you have to keep in mind that in order to lose one pound of weight you have to create a deficit of 3,500 calories. According to this if you reduce the calorie intake and you increase the number of burned calories by 500 each day, it means that you will be able to lose one pound per week. Isn’t a lean body something that we would all like to achieve, sometime in the future?
