In 2004 a group of college students created Facebook, a social networking site that has changed the way that many people, and businesses communicate. Facebook allows it's users to send and receive messages, post personal information, select groups of friends, play games online, and perhaps most importantly it gives them a voice.

Facebook users can post comments on anything that comes to mind and share those comments with countless others giving them the ability to express their opinions publicly in a way that gives them much more visibility than a personal conversation would. Other users can then comment on the original comment allowing thoughts and ideas to spread at a very fast pace. It is this ability to share information, thoughts, and opinions that makes Facebook such a force in the world today.

With it's ability to influence public opinion, having a Facebook page has become a standard practice for most businesses.
