The Px90 Workout Routine

PX90?! So many times people come up to me asking me about the PX90 workout, so I tell them that the PX90 is a great workout routine, and that it reminds me a lot of another routine that I do called P90X. Okay, so they are both the same thing, I just find it funny because I used to say PX90 all the time, when I did not know too much about it. But to get everything in the clear, it is not called PX90 it is called P90X, so now when someone talks to you about PX90, you can kindly correct them, and it will also help them search for it better on the internet when they know the correct term. So what exactly is this P90x extreme workout routine? If you're interested in finding information on it, then keep on reading, I will try my best to describe it to you, so you can gain some knowledge about your decisions.
To sum it all up in a few words, P90X is a 90-day challenge that consists of 12 DVDs that are created to give you a full body workout, but there is so much more to it than that. What I love about this workout routine is that it does not just give you a good workout, but it educates the person so they can best understand ...
... their body and how to maximize their results. It has a great trainer named Tony Horton, who can come across pretty cocky, but he does know what he is doing, and it is nice because he makes sure that you understand the workouts so you can avoid injury. So if you are wondering what the 12 DVDs are, here you go:
Chest and Back
Plyometrics
Shoulders and Arms
Yoga X
Core Synergistics
Kenpo X
Legs and Back
Ab Ripper X
Back and Biceps
Cardio X
X Stretch
Chest, Shoulders and Triceps
They really did think of just about everything when they put this routine together, each of these workout will seriously challenge you, even if you are in good shape. Another reason why this workout is so great is a term called muscle confusion. Have you ever been working out for a while and then at some point your body just quits building muscle or losing weight? I know I have been through it and it is frustrating, it is called the plateau affect. Your muscles get familiar with your routine, so your progress levels out, but P90X will not allow your muscles to get familiar with the workout, it switches things up so your body can always be on the incline. I mentioned earlier that P90X does a great job on educating you, part of that is the fitness guide, and another part of that is the nutrition guide. P90X has a whole nutrition plan that will provide you information on what to eat so you can get the most out of your workouts, and it also walks foot by foot along with the fitness guide, so it is easy to use. I hope this has helped you in your search for a healthy life style.
