When parents are thinking about feeding the little one, usually they don’t really consider eco friendly plates or other baby dishes. Nonetheless this is the place to start if you would like to raise environment awareness.

Stainless steel baby dishes

While the majority of people use plastic ones, the stainless steel options seem to work out a lot better. These are free of BPA, PVC, lead and other toxins, they have a long life span, are safe to use and reusable not to mention that these are eco friendly plates. The only downside we can think of is that they aren’t as colorful as the plastic ones.

Baby bottles

If you are looking for baby dishes that are eco friendly, look for those bottles that are made of recycled glass and the plastic should also be free of BPA. Also keep an eye out for other toxic elements.

Bibs

These are the only way to reduce the mess that the babies make when eating. Although it has nothing to do with eco friendly dishes, it also effects the environment. ...
... You don’t have to opt for the vinyl ones, because those made of cotton and free of PVC work out just as good.

Sippy cups

At a certain age children like to hold their own baby dishes and so for sure you will need sippy cups. In this case you also have the option to get stainless steel items, or plastic ones that are free of BPA and PVC.

Eco friendly dishes that are non-toxic

Before purchasing an item you should take a look at the packaging that includes all the materials and substances that have been used to create the items in question. Make sure that there are no toxins like lead, and as it has been mentioned several times before, there should be no PVC or BPA. Kids tend to put things in their mouth and you don’t want such substances around them.

High chair

You might have all the baby dishes safe and green, but it will be in vain if the high chair has a negative impact on the environment or if it is dangerous for the little one. This is why you should be looking for the chairs that are made of sustainably harvested wood and no toxic chemicals have been used to create them.

Going green means more than only having eco friendly dishes. Think about everything else too.
