Existing Scenario Management Colleges In India
The history of management education is not so great in India. Before India achieved independence nothing of this sought was found. This type of education started some 50 years back as part time education for working professionals and practicing executives. It was only after independence that our late Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Lal Nehru wished to establish educational institutions in India, which would be similar to Harvard and Oxford business schools and would come into sight as a place for nurturing knowledge excelling in technology and management of bright and talented minds. Gone are the days, when Indian students need to go to overseas destinations to pursue higher education. Ever since the job market for professionals in management has been strengthened by the arrival of multinational incorporation, students have started taking their education in India only. Management schools in India have also made important contributions in the popularizing of education among students pursuing these through its world class infrastructure, education standards, the course structure, and a record investment.
Today, the primaries focus of this education to nurture the knowledge and understanding of business theories and principles, which have far reaching impact on organizational practices. Also, it emphasizes on anticipating and influencing change in organizations, develop leaders for organizations and develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
Considering this, most of the young minds want to get into this field so that they can secure their secured future.
