Diwali Diyas
When Lord Ram came to Ayodhya after defeating demon king Ravan, it was Amavasya (dark night of new moon) and hence, people of Ayodhya lit earthen lamps (diyas) to welcome their new king. Since then, India celebrates Diwali Festival and Indians light up diyas and candles to remove darkness. Metaphorically, these Diwali diyas symbolize brightness that they bring in our lives; it was said that during the period of Ramayana, demons were ruling the earth under the leadership of wicked Ravan. And thus it was considered to be a dark age; by killing Ravan, Lord Ram eliminated darkness from the lives of innocent people, and brightness of good prevailed. Thus, it was a victory of good (Ram) over evil (Ravan).

Decorative Diwali Diyas
With the passage of time, people shifted from using ordinary Diwali diyas to colourful and decorative Diwali diyas. Style and elegance added to the festival celebrations, and the result is trendy & chic earthen lamps in different shapes, sizes and colours. However, these ...
... Diwali diyas are not available everywhere, and therefore people send Diwali diyas to the destination where such earthen artistry is not mushroomed. With online shopping portal’s growing influence, sending Diwali diyas to India has become much easier and cheaper. All one needs to do is to select Diwali diyas from online stores, make payment and send the gifts.

Diwali Candles
Diwali candles are all the rage today. With Diwali inching close, market places are flooded with racks of candles in different sizes, shapes and colours; and that is not all – fragrance is the new element added to this light-emitting stick. Customers go potty about flower-shaped, heart-shaped and leaf-shaped candles available in market; for the purpose of charity, a few online shopping portals also put Diwali candles manufactured by Blind People’s Association, where blind people make candles. This is the best way to celebrate Diwali for both – online portals and their customers, who can help those differently-able people by shopping Diwali candles made by them. So, this Diwali have aromatic celebrations with your family & friends.

All in all, Diwali celebration is all about coming together, living together, eating together and having fun together. It’s the way we celebrate makes big difference, otherwise festivals come and go every year. It is up to us that how we welcome & greet our festivals.
