Mali

The Republic of Mali has over 12 million people populating the land, and in terms of land, Mali is the seventh largest country in the African continent. IT borders Algeria, Niger, Burkina, Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea, Senegal, and Mauritania. Most of the inhabitants reside near the river Senegal and Niger.

Mali was inhabited by the Mande natives who took part in forming the Sahelian Kingdoms, which included the Empire of Ghana, the Empire of Mali, and the Empire of Songhai. Colonized by France, Mali achieved its independence in 1960, and its government is a semi-presidential republic.

With a population of 13 million, Mali is one of the poorest countries in the entire world. Because its topography is 65% arid desert, the economic levels of the country are limited to the river regions. Most of the economy is fueled by agriculture, with its main export being cotton. The population is a mixture of ethnic groups, and 90% of the population is Muslim in religion.

Malawi

The Republic of Malawi resides in southwestern Africa, formerly known as Nyasaland, borders Zambia, Tanzania, and ...
... Mozambique. Malawi runs to the Great Rift Valley and to the deepest areas of Lake Malawi, which is Africa's third larges lake.

In 1964, Malawi was liberated from the United Kingdom, and it is a multi-party democracy. As a landlocked country, Malawi's economy is mostly fueled by agricultural industry, specifically tobacco, sugar, and tea as its exports. The inflation in the country is quite stable, and the government has developed a history of fiscal discipline.

With 12 million people in its population, Malawi is one of Africa's sub-Saharan most densely countries, and its capital has more than 400,000 populating the region. Historically, Malawi was not cohesive, but with recent times, the differentiations between ethnic and tribal groups have diminished. Malawi unity under one nationality has begun to take hold, and there have been minimal frictions that exist between the different groups.
