The most cost-effective and productive way of finding the right candidates for jobs is by using recruitment agencies. If a company were to use their human resources team to do the job, lots of time will be taken up by writing and posting job advertisements then sorting through the many applications and deciding who is being short listed for interviews. With the job market in the state that it is today you could be talking about hundreds of applicants to go through. This can take several hours every day and all at the expense of the company. This is where specialist recruitment agencies come in.

When you enlist the help of a specialist recruitment agency they already have candidates on their books and one of them could be just what you are looking for. More and more people are signing up to agencies rather than relying on job advertisement in the local job center or local papers. Why chase work when you can let it find you? This is why they are becoming so popular for job seekers.

When a company chooses to advertise for vacancies there is normally either far too many applications to go through or not enough. ...
... With specialist recruitment agencies they will only send you possible candidates that fall into the criteria you are looking for, which means they will all be suitable candidates.

Other reasons recruitment agencies are the best option is that many of them offer other services such as pay roll management and appraisals. This is great if you're a smallish company without a HR department. Also many of the top agencies have overseas contacts which might offer you just what you are looking for. Many agencies invest a lot of time and money in creating contacts as well as building associations with their customers.

Why not treat recruitment agencies similar to that of sales force, working for you on a commission basis, getting the right candidates for your jobs in a timely and efficient manner. The only other thing to think about is what type of agency you join up with. If you're in a speciality industry such as medical or construction, look for an agency which is specific to your needs. There are agencies for pretty much every industry out there. Some are more impersonal than others. Some are national others are more regional. So take a few moments to think what sort of agency you want to enlist the help off and sign up. You won't regret it.
