Applying eye makeup can be really fun as you can play up with so many shades. And you can also get a completely new look every time you apply your eye makeup. However, applying your favorite eyeshadow shades, eyeliner or mascara can be a really daunting task if you have dark circles or puffy eyes. When comes to perfect makeup application, taking care of your skin is considered as the most important aspect. Same goes with the eye makeup. For flawless eye makeup, you need to take extra care of your eyes.

Given below are few basic eye care tips that can help you get those beautiful, dazzling eyes:

Be sure you include foods rich in vitamin A in your diet. Foods like papaya, milk, fish, carrot, orange vegetables are good source of vitamin A.

Be sure you sprinkle your eyes with cold water in every 2-3 hours.
Women who have dark circles should put slices of cucumber on their each eye. Cucumber is very effective in treating dark circles.

You can also use slices of potato over your eyes to remove the dark circles.

Eye compresses is one of the most effective tip for healthy, sparkling eyes.

Soak ...
... a cotton ball in some water overnight. Squeeze out the water and dip in fresh cup of water. Now sprinkle this water over your eyes.
Be sure you follow a proper sleeping pattern. Your skin and body needs proper rest. You must sleep at least for 9-10 hours. Do have your power naps whenever it is possible.

Add few drops of castor oil in rose water. Then soak two cotton balls in this liquid. Put these balls on your eyelids for 25 minutes. You will feel more relaxed and stress-free.

Tea bags are also effective on tired, puffy eyes. Soak two tea bags in lukewarm water and put them on your lids for 20 minutes. You will feel very relaxed.

Dip two cotton balls in fresh milk and place these over your eyelids for 10 minutes and relax.

You should never go to bed with your full makeup on as it makeup may clog your skin pores. Be sure you remove your eye makeup cosmetics with a good makeup remover before going to bed.

Also wash your face thoroughly with a mild face wash. Be sure you apply the tonner as well as a good moisturizer. Also apply a good under eye cream.
