Finding an efficient diet or technique is not always the easiest thing to do being that every persons body responds differently. Something you probably have not tried before is shifting calories. This is a fairly new theory that has been presented in the 11 day diet and its basis is shifting your diet menu every few days.

Believe it or not, your metabolism is clueless when it comes to knowing how much food you will eat in the coming days. The reasons for this; those days have not occurred yet and your metabolism cannot predict the future. Because of this, your metabolism will always burn calories based on your eating habits of the past few days.

This may sound strange, but your metabolism does have a mind of its own. The reason your metabolism burns calories based on the past few days of food is because it assumes that is what you will be eating in the next few days. The theory behind shifting calories is that you will do the opposite of what is expected and eat differently.

Changing your diet every few days is something that very few people do. By eating different types of calories and meals every ...
... few days, your body will react to the change and you will begin to lose weight rather quickly. The key to making this work is shifting the calories you eat.

To be successful with this theory, it is vital that you shift the calories eaten. In response, your metabolism will burn all of the calories eaten. Once it has burned all of the calories present, it will find the nearest available fat tissue and move on to that.

There is a little more to it than that though. You cannot eat anything you want to and change your diet every few days and still see results. To see the best results, you will have to eat foods that have been rated fat burning compatible. The reason for this is because the foods must be easy to burn so your metabolism will burn them completely. If they are not easy to burn, your metabolism will never make it to the fat tissue stage of the process.

Shifting calories is a rather simple process when done correctly. The key to being successful is consistency. You cannot switch your diet one week and then maintain the same diet the next. It will not work. But if you are consistent and eat fat burning compatible foods, you will begin to notice a significant difference.
