The memory department has certainly not improved in the last few years, which means that the iPhone 5 will be very much on par with the competition in this regard, although the extra memory card support is unlikely to be present in the phone. The iPhone 5 will be providing a dual core processor that is set to be clocked at 1 GHz, which is extremely important for the new iOS 5. Apart from the new notification bar, the iOS 5 also comes with the dedicated camera button support even if the phone does not have a dedicated camera button.
