Located in South Carolina and the mountains of northeastern Georgia, the lake has some 962 miles of shoreline and covers over 56,000 acres of water. This is true for individuals that want to live near Lake Hartwell year round or one of those that simply want a vacation spot that can be utilized at their discretion.
