"It was always a dream of mine to take a train from one coast of the U.S. to the other. The idea of being on a train for a few days was inspiring. Well, the day came that I finally decided to do it and started charting my train journey. Indiana was going to be my starting point and I would end in Washington. A close friend of mine has a home in Washington and I decided to stay with her for some time. Unfortunately, right when I ended my journey, I had a family emergency back home, so needed to head back immediately. My friend, Denise, helped me redeem some Expedia coupons and we booked the flight immediately.

I was thinking it would be a huge chunk of change because I was buying my tickets so last minute. There is no chance that this could be inexpensive. However, the ticket was actually not as expensive as a round trip ticket was priced at, if I had flown from home to start. That was much cheaper than I predicted it was going to cost.

Although the price wasn't that important after all. I needed to get home so I was going to be flying, one way or another. My grandma had lapsed into a coma, after ...
... she had an aneurysmin her brain. Everyone in the family didn't know for sure if it really was an aneurysm though. That's just what they and the hospital staff were calling it. Our family only knew that she had lost consciousness, after she had mentioned that she was not feeling well. Since that time, she has been in a coma.

I made it back into Indiana later that same day that I had finally touched down in Washington. It was bizarre to be on a three day excursion and then be back home in just a few hours. I was dropped by to spend time with my grandma that very evening. I was still attentive and pretty wired from the whole ordeal.

Even though my grandma ended up passing away, I got to be there to spend some precious time with her as she went. It is a rewarding feeling knowing that I could make it home so quickly. I wasn't aware that plane tickets could be taken care of so fast. I had always supposed that you had to arrange your tickets weeks in advance. It's odd not having Grandma here in my life, but there are many days when I feel her spirit and I know that she is always going to be a part of my life. My grandma will always inhabit me, no matter where I go."
You will come across great discounts if you follow coupons for expedia and steve madden coupons.
