Electric Guitar Lessons

So your Christmas present was an electric guitar but you don’t have a clue how to play the instrument. Did it happen to you? No? Well it DID happen to me.
Although I love to pretend to play for an audience of 50,000 people, it’s probably not such a good idea. By the time I received the guitar I could barely read the guitar tabs. Let alone playing an epic Stairway To Heaven solo by Led Zeppeling (that’s the song I always play on my airguitar under the shower). Because I really wanted to sell out stadiums and get platinum records I gave my local guitar teacher a phonecall. When he picked up the phone I told him that I wanted to play a monumental solo on my electric guitar in front of a crowd of 50,000 people but the only problem was that I couldn’t play the guitar. He started laughing and he continued like that for at least 2 minutes. Well, a little bit of humor won’t kill you.
We scheduled an appointment for my very first guitar experience a week later. I was really sighed but nervous as well when I stood in front of room 402 of the musicstudio. I heard people play their instruments in the hallway, very ...
... well though. The sound of a student or teacher playing his acoustic guitar reached me during the walk by. I was thinking to myself: if I could only play half as good as he could I would be the happiest airguitarist in the world.
Then finally the teacher came out of the room and told me that we could begin. After a brief introduction we started to make the first sounds with the guitar. It felt truely awesome. The first hour of my course was over and I couldn’t wait for the next lessons.
But after 2 more lessons my dream came to an end. I got bussier for my study and had barely any spare time. The little bit of spare time I had left I wanted to share with the people I love; my friends and family. Scheduling an hour for my music teacher was hard to do because I didn’t know when I was available. After a couple of months I realised that I really missed playing around with the instrument. So I got some online Electric Guitar Lessons and now I can learn it whenever I have some spare time or I really feel like playing. Still going strong after 3 months of trying to master my guitar through the interwebs.
