Samsung Galaxy R And Galaxy W - Can Not Specify Their Huge Features
The Samsung Galaxy S2 is without a shadow of doubt one of the most successful devices of recent times, but the success of this phone is limited within the high-end smartphone segment. It is something that Apple also has to deal with, while it is one of the main reasons for Apple not being able to capture the entire market share. The availability of a cheap version will enable the company to take care of the needs of the segment just below the Samsung Galaxy S2
. One of the phones that will enable the company to do so will be the Samsung Galaxy R, while the Samsung Galaxy W
is also another phone that can quite achieve the feat.
Both these phones have been announced recently and they have already become extremely popular. The Samsung Galaxy R
is popular due to the 4.2 inch touch screen display, while the Samsung Galaxy W is popular due to the fact that it ...
... provides a number of features similar to the Samsung Galaxy S2. It does not take long to realise the fact that there is a huge gap between the Samsung Galaxy W and the Samsung Galaxy S2. However, the little details like the design of the phone ensures that this gap is kept to a bare minimum. In terms of the features, there is very little separating the Samsung Galaxy R from the Samsung Galaxy S2. It may not be coming with the AMOLED technology, but the display size and other features ensure that the quality of the display is not too different from the flagship model.
The Samsung Galaxy R will be providing the latest Android 2.3 operating system, while this is once again offered in the Samsung Galaxy W as well. Its presence in the Samsung Galaxy R is certainly not surprising given that the price differential between this phone and the top end segment is very little, but for the Samsung Galaxy W to top this by offering the same operating system is really surprising. The Samsung Galaxy R becomes one of the first phones to come with a dual core processor in its segment, while the Samsung Galaxy W does not. Still, the Galaxy W can claim to offer quite a powerful 1.4 GHz single core unit, which is much better than many other high-end smart phones. It is surprising to know that the processor in the Galaxy W can claim to be significantly faster than even the iPhone 4.
Such is the supremacy of the two phones that they can easily capture the imaginations of the people as well. This is due to the five megapixel camera used in both phones. Due to the fact that they use the same camera, there's not a lot of difference between them in terms of features. The Samsung Galaxy R does have the smile detection feature, which is absent in the Galaxy W. Still, it does not push you away from the fact that both are extremely valuable for money propositions.
