It is customary for BlackBerry phones to be excellent in the business options, but the BlackBerry Torch 9860 is a fine example of a phone that tries to defy the expectations. It looks like it is doing certainly well in this regard because of the incredibly impressed that people have shown on this phone, despite being only launched recently. In addition to this phone, the company has also announced the launch of the BlackBerry Curve 9360, which is more in line with the expectations of a BlackBerry phone. It does not take long to realise that the BlackBerry Curve 9360 is meant for business people, while the BlackBerry Torch 9860 can be the perfect companion for those seeking entertainment.

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 will be coming with a 2.4 inch display, which is not surprising given that most of the importance has been given to the business options. It certainly means the physical full QWERTY keyboard, which is present in the BlackBerry Curve 9360 ...
... in an excellent way. The phone provides the resolution of 480 x 360 pixels within the display, which enables it to take care of the occasional entertainment usage as well. The BlackBerry Torch 9860, on the other hand, is a phone that will be providing support to the variety of entertainment requirements through its 3.7 inch display unit. The unit offers a maximum resolution in the region of 480 x 800 pixels, which is almost the same as you would get on the Samsung Galaxy S2.

However, the small display size – in comparison with the Samsung Galaxy S2 – means that the BlackBerry Torch 9860 has the capability to display much more detail within the content. The presence of the 4 GB of internal memory ensures that you have adequate space to store a few files without having to resort to the external memory card support, which is also present in the phone. Even though the BlackBerry Curve 9360 offers only 512 MB of internal memory, it is easy to understand why the phone offers this amount of memory only. Despite it, you need not worry because the BlackBerry Curve 9360 provides support to the external memory card just as the BlackBerry Torch 9860 does.

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 will be providing a five megapixel camera along with LED flash, while the camera in the BlackBerry Torch 9860 will be capable of taking HD videos. In addition to this, the camera will also provide the autofocus, image stabilisation and face detection features, which will enable you to get the best out of the images without having to strain a lot. Since the entertainment is not really the specialty of the BlackBerry Curve 9360, it is more than enough that the five megapixel unit offers the ability to take decent looking images. The BlackBerry Curve 9360 will soon be available on contract options in the UK, while the BlackBerry Torch 9860 is available for the same for around £ 35 per month on a two-year contract.
