Htc Titan - Well-equipped Phone To Take A Ride On The Massive Wave
The HTC Titan is one of the models that is causing a lot of speculation in the mobile phone industry that this will be the start of the mega sized displays in mobile phones. This is because the HTC Titan looks very much similar to the HTC Desire HD, but comes with a massive 4.7 inch display on board. So far, no other mobile phone has come with a display that is much bigger than the one present in the HTC Titan, although this is something that is taken by disregarding the Dell Venue Pro. Even though this phone came with a slightly larger display, it was never really took off.
However, one can be sure that this will not happen once again with the HTC Titan because this phone will be running on the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system. This is the latest version, which is also to take on the Android operating system. The incredible growth in the popularity of this operating system could not be stopped by the previous Windows Phone 7 operating system. The launch of this new version, which is accompanied by a number of changes, is once again expected ...
... to put a lot of pressure on the current favourite – the Android operating system. The HTC Titan may have a very large 4.7 inch unit, but it is rather surprisingly small for the dimensions.
Of course, it has a total weight of 160 g, but it is very much similar to the weight of the HTC Sensation, which has a 4.3 inch display. In addition to this, the thickness of the phone is also extremely low at just 9.9 mm. Hence, one can say that even though the display is extremely large, the proportions of the phone being that the size is well hidden. The display is one of the largest in the segment right now, and it will also need a very good resolution of 480 x 800 pixels in order to sustain the quality within the display. The HTC Titan provides a maximum internal memory of 16 GB, which is very much in line with the majority of the Windows phones in recent times. Due to the way in which Windows phones are very much tied together, the HTC Titan does not offer the external memory card support.
The HTC Titan will be providing an eight megapixel camera for taking photos and videos, while there is also a secondary front facing camera that is designed to support the video calling feature. The front facing camera is a 1.3 megapixel unit, which can perform video conferencing over the number of applications present in the phone right now. However, the most important of them has to be the Skype application, which is now owned by Microsoft. So, one can expect the best when it comes to video conferencing on the HTC Titan. This phone will be available in the United Kingdom soon, although HTC failed to announce the exact date it will do so. Besides that you may also wish to take a look at HTC Incredible S for other available deals.
