Htc Radar - Latest Phone That Incorporates Almost All Technologies
The HTC Radar is a Windows phone that was recently announced by HTC along with the HTC Titan. Expectations are very high for this phone given the amount of features that it will be offering. The most important aspect of the phone, though, is the fact that it will be providing the new version of the Windows Phone 7 operating system. Even though the OS was extremely good, it was simply not capable of going toe to toe with the Android operating system, which has not remained more popular. Hence, the launch of the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system is being done with a view of pegging back the Android operating system.
The HTC Radar is more than a worthy phone to run this operating system. This is due to the number of features that it offers and also the design of the phone. The total weight of the phone is just 137 g, while the thickness has been limited to just 10.9 mm. These are incredible figures for a phone that is supposedly going to be present in the mid-range smartphone segment. One can gauge this by looking at the 3.8 inch touch screen display. ...
... This display uses the Super LCD display technology, which is capable of offering up to 480 x 800 pixels of resolution. The display is protected by the incredibly tough gorilla glass, which will go to extraordinary lengths in order to protect the screen from getting scratched or blemished in any other way.
The HTC Radar will be offering an 8 GB memory internally, which seems to be in line with the amount of memory offered by most of the high-end phones. The HTC Radar will not be providing the external memory card support due to the simple fact that it is a Windows phone. The reason for the Windows phone to not offer the external memory card support is not clear, but almost no phone that runs on this operating system offers the support. However, the 8 GB memory present on the HTC Radar should be sufficient to get the best out of the phone, which is not only good in terms of the business support, but also the entertainment support as well.
The HTC Radar will be providing a 1 GHz Scorpion processor in order to run the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system. Navigation will be taken care of by the in-house Bing maps application, while the navigation itself is possible because of the GPS function. A digital compass is also provided in the phone. The HTC Radar will be coming with a five megapixel camera, while the front facing unit is a VGA one. The five megapixel unit will be capable of recording in 720 p HD videos at 30 frames per second, which is really the ideal ability that of phones should have in this segment. The HTC Radar is expected to be available in the UK later this month, with O2 and Vodafone being the firm favourites with their incredible contract options. Besides that you may also wish to take a look at HTC Incredible S for other available deals.
