Window Washing - The Untapped Fountain Of Financial Success
Have you ever considered the three most in demand services in the world? You might be surprised to find that they are funeral homes, toilet paper manufacturers, and, oddly enough, window washers.
The first two aside, shop windows; doors and storefront's are possibly the most important part of a business. When an individual first approaches a shop, the first thing that he or she sees is that of the windows and door. It is the first impression that the potential customer will get. With that point in consideration, all business owners want their windows cleaned as often as possible.
The demand is intensified when one takes into consideration the point that the average business is only a very few feet away from the closest roadway. This causes a massive conglomeration of dirt, dust and road grime to be swept up onto the sidewalk and, inevitably the store windows. You can begin to see why the concept of a reliable window washer is so very in-demand.
One would think the trade of window washing would be quite simple, and that anyone could do it with no investment. All you would need is water and a rag, right? Wrong! ...
... There is much more to this occupation then the average uninformed individual would realize. For example, a rag is useless in window washing, and by itself, so is water. Of course, you would say, you would need soap also. Another myth. Just any old soap will not do. You see, the average individual partaking of the profession of window washer would last two hours at the most. A trained professional, an informed individual, however, would excel at it.
Another interesting fact, mostly due to trained non-professionals, is that most towns and cities have far more demand than supply. In most areas, rural, suburban, and urban, the very few window washers that are in the community have so much work that they have to turn most of it away. There is just not enough time in the day for one crew to handle the demand.
As small businesses go, the demand of the market tells us that this may possibly be the venture with the largest potential for long-term success. No one wants to wash his or her own windows, and no one knows whom to call. Perhaps this could be your future business? All it requires is the knowledge, the supplies, and no fear of going out and doing the work or being the boss and sending someone else out. All added up, this is likely the most inexpensive business venture also. It is nothing less than amazing that the business of window washing does not have business entrepreneurs falling all over each other trying to be the next successful investor or owner.
