Most types of rashes can be dealt with the help of home remedies for rashes. Skin care plays an important role in treating skin rashes. Do not scrub or scratch your skin. It is best to use a mild cleanser instead of soap. Never apply any cosmetics directly on your rashes. Try to expose the affected area to the air as often as possible. If you have extensive itching, add one cup of baking powder to warm bath water and immerse yourself in it. Aloe vera extract is also a best natural cure for skin rashes. It contains antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. Rub aloe vera extract or gel on the rash. Another way to get rid of itching and irritation caused by skin rashes is to put a little amount of olive oil on the rashes.

An oatmeal bath is one of the excellent natural remedies for skin rashes. Add one cup of oatmeal to warm bath water and soak in it for at least fifteen minutes. Make sure that the water is not very hot. Cucumber, with its anti-inflammatory properties can also heal skin rashes. Take some cucumber pieces and puree them to a pulp. Apply this pulp directly to the rashes to alleviate the irritation. You can also place cucumber slices on the rashes. Calendula essential oil and chamomile essential oil are also good home remedies for rashes. Chamomile tea bag can be used to reduce inflamed skin. Make some chamomile tea and apply it to the rashes using a cotton ball.

Mix cod liver oil with vitamin E and put this mixture on the rashes. This is one of the recommended home remedies for rashes. Skin rashes can also be reduced by applying witch hazel extract to the affected area. Consult a doctor if your rash is not healing or is associated with other symptoms, such as difficulty breathing and dizziness.
