TV was available in market Since the late 1920, Tv is mainly used as an instrument for advertising as it has become the requirement of every home ,Schools, businesses in this recent times as it’s a source of news and entertainment but the problem lies whether that average person watching 6 hours or more of television a day, how much of that is engaged in watching political shows or debates, I would say hardly any.

The media constantly imposes their views and opinions on us, how many of us actually challenge the articles we read or see – we tend to believe what we see and don’t realize there is always hidden propaganda and the media portray issues from their perspective. You don’t know where sources necessarily come from and therefore you are exposed to the views of the media. Hence why it is important to watch political shows and debates so that we can establish the arguments for and against the issues that are affecting us globally. Watching these shows not only engages and challenges our thoughts it makes us reflect on the bigger picture. It lets us forms our own opinions and thoughts and lets us makes informed ...

The majority of people who watch such shows tend to be viewed by more mature audiences, the youth’s general consensus and people who do not watch political shows/ debates deem it as boring and a waste of time – the misconceptions that have been formed are primarily due to the exposure of the current debates that are aired on TV for example the Sunday morning debates. In order to engage a younger audience to take an interest in debates which will help to shape our future society.

Drastic needs to be undertaken to transform the current format and content of such shows, Research shows that young people who view debates will discuss and observe political issues more readily. Debates have a positive impact on society and people have more awareness about the issues e.g. the recent London riots or Judiciary conflict in Pakistan in 2007 Live debates and Latest current political shows provides people a platform from where they can carry forward their thoughts and people can make a distinction about Positives and negatives.
