Ireland – A Famous Iceland

Ireland attracts tourism in many ways. It has roots of history and stems of culture, Geographical beauty and leaves of youthful energy. It is surrounded by Atlantic Ocean, Celtic Sea and Irish Sea. It is full of natural beauty. Great areas of mountain, sandy beaches, deep glens, and coastline can attract any nature lover. Trendy bars, famous night clubs, cinemas and music attracts youth.
Politically Ireland is divided into two entities. 1. The Republic of Ireland officially formed on 6th December 1922 that covers 5/6th of island. Its capital is Dublin. 2. Northern Ireland established on 3rd May 1921 is a part of United Kingdom that covers only 1/6th part. Its capital is Belfast.

Ireland is subdivided into four provinces called Connacht, Leinster,Munster and Ulster means West, East South and North respectively. Ireland has 32 traditional counties. 26 of them are in the Republic of Ireland and remaining six counties are in Northern Ireland. These six counties are all in province of Ulster so Ulster is often used as synonym for Northern Ireland. Counties like Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford and Tipperary ...

Ireland has five main international airports. They are Dublin Airport, Belfast Airport, Cork Airport, Shannon Airport and Ireland West Airport. Among this Dublin Airport is busiest airport. It carries over 22 million passengers per year. There are many options available for tourist to stay in Ireland. Your choice can be based on your requirements and budget. Option covered Lavish 5 star hotels, budget hotels, basic hotels, Bed and Breakfast accommodation, hostel accommodation, university accommodation, guest houses, caravan camping etc. Hostels in Ireland provide shelter, shower and security to the customer. They behave little differently than traditional hostels. Hostels in Dublin and other provinces have managers or owners instead of warden. Hostel is better choice than staying in the more expensive motel or hotel. In hostels all the space is shared whether it is bedroom (dormitory) or bathrooms or kitchen. The beds are usually bunk beds most hostels not accept local residents, but only international travelers. The aim is to provide low cost accommodation to travelers. Here service hours are limited to keep cost down.

Bed and Breakfast concept is firmly established in Europe. Many of the local people preferred this business because not only it increase their income, they get a chance to meet different people and get a chance to know them and their culture, maintain their residence and feel proud by their hospitality. Tourists also get a chance to live in bungalow or villa or old Victorian red brick house. Tourist can live with local family and they also provide lavish Irish breakfast. This is also a low budget option for tourists.

Dublin Hotels are another choice where one can have facility of international standard and feeling of historical place through 17th century architecture and famous contemporary art collection.
The Population of Ireland is approximately 6.2 million. Irish people are very sociable, fun loving and talkative. 85% of Irish people follow Roman Catholic. 10% of People follow no religion. Muslim community is increased by migration. Little Percentage of Jewish community is also found. The fast –paced Gaelic games, rugby and soccer are most popular game in Ireland. There are many famous Irish personalities almost in all the fields like science, politics, games, art and culture and particularly in English language.
