Due to the hot weather in summer, people often sweat a lot and they used to wash face with cold water to cool down temperature. However, such action is not scientific and even cause damage to skins.

When people are sweating, their blood vessels expand, pores are enlarged and blood circulation accelerates. If people use cold water to wash skins at this time, the blood vessels will shrink immediately, the pores will be closed and the secretion of sweat glands will stop immediately. People could not distribute the inner heat, and they will feel very hot and they are susceptible to colds and other diseases.

The oil secretion is also very serious in summer. If people wash face with cold water blindly, the oil and cold water will become solid in face. When the face is full of sweat, oil and dust, cold water could not wash them away clearly and even cause acne. After exercise or outdoor activities, people often sweat a lot. Their skin temperatures are relatively high, and if people use cold water to wash face immediately, the facial skin will shrink and could not dispel the oil, sweat and dirt in pores. This results in ...
... the enlargement of skin pores, sensitive skins and even acute inflammation.

Many girls use sunscreen in summer and it will produce a lot of oil dirt after one day. So, they are suggested to wash dace twice: remove makeup and wash clearly. Because the common remover products have good oil solubility which could dissolve the dirt in pores and prevents the acnes. After using remover products, they can choose cleansing products with abundant foams and wash skins thoroughly with warm water.

Although people like having cold bath, they are not suggested to do it after sweating a lot. They should use warm water to wipe the body first until the body temperatures decreases. Thus, people have to wait a while to have bath. The hot bath could not make people feel cool quickly, but it could expand the skin capillaries which is helpful for metabolism and heat extraction and oil removing.

We could not deny that it is cool to wash face with cold water, but we should not follow that way to keep healthy.
