The samsung Galaxy S2 Offer Top Quality Video Recording
There are many reasons why the Samsung Galaxy S2 has proved such a phenomenal success since its release. Many consumers love the high quality Super AMOLED screen which produces stunning results whilst others are drawn to the phones incredibly fast dual core processor. An area that is often overlooked however is the video capture facilities on the phone and the Galaxy S2 offers some of the very best available.
Not so long ago video capture was available on very few mobiles and those that did boast it normally offered a very low VGA quality. Over the past 18 months we have seen more handsets released that offer high definition capture however there are two standards of HD and many phones offer the more basic 720P form rather than the ultimate 1080P. These numbers relate to the number of progressively scanned horizontal lines which make up the picture with the latter form offering a near 50% improvement. The Galaxy S2 is one of the few devices that does offer 1080P and the results are stunning. In addition to this high resolution the phone can also capture footage at 30 frames per second which is the highest level ...
... available on any mobile device with many handsets still settling for around 24 FPS.
There are a wealth of video settings available on the Samsung Galaxy S2 which give you full control over just how good your footage will look. You can choose the calibration of white balance and exposure settings meaning that regardless of lighting conditions you can always be assured of the best possible result. In those times when the lighting is to dark to capture reasonable footage then the device is fitted with a video light. This is perfect for occasions such as parties or nights although the range is quite limited so it is best to try and film subjects in your immediate vicinity rather than a more general scene. A neat addition to the features is the "Touch Focus" which enables you to simply touch the part of the screen where you want the camera focused and the phone will do the rest. With a traditional autofocus the phone would simply pick the object that occupies the centre part of the screen but this new feature gives you more control over your results.
The video facilities on the Samsung Galaxy S2 are just one of many areas that impress with this phone. The results look superb both on the handsets own screen and when transferred to a high definition television. If you are looking for a phone with superb video capture then this model really is hard to beat.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 and the LG Optimus 3D are available now.
