Mention the phrase minority owned business to some and this term tends to conjure up thoughts of struggling businesses that are attempting to make their way in a competitive market that is over their head. The term minority owned business can also bring to mind the image of a business that isnt as dedicated to quality and detail as larger companies.

These misconceptions cant be any farther from the truth. There are many minority owned businesses that meet and exceed the quality, attention to detail and customer service of larger companies that they must compete with.

Customers only find themselves with a product or service from a minority owned business when there isnt a viable product or service from a larger firm available or the larger firms price is too high. Customers that subscribe to this point of view tend to miss the benefit of dealing with a business that is eager to have their business and willing to work harder to keep it.
