Do use Sun blocks as sun exposure and pregnancy hormones can lead to brown patchy skin on cheeks and forehead.
Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. A comfortable commute starts before you get in your car or on the train.
Get all essential vitamins and minerals every day. Women need a lot more iron when pregnant. And sometimes it's hard to get enough by eating alone.
Continue taking folic acid throughout your pregnancy. All women capable of pregnancy should get 400 to 800 micrograms of folic acid every day.
Do have regular prenatal care appointments with a health caregiver who can check ...
... on you and your baby.
Introduce exercise into your daily activities if your doctor says it is safe to do so. Low-impact exercise is good for you and your baby.
Do get enough sleep and rest and try to reduce anxiety. Sleep on your left side and use pillows between your legs and under your belly to help you get comfortable.
A balanced breakfast with a glass of milk, toast, and fruit is very essential. Eat plenty of calcium-rich foods (such as non-fat or low-fat yogurt, milk, and broccoli) that your baby needs for strong bones and teeth.

Don't smoke, drink alcohol and coffee, or take street drugs. Because passive smoking is just as serious and can harm your unborn baby. It’s wise to avoid coffee, tea, or sodas that contain caffeine.
Don’t use products that include vitamin-A and its derivatives as they are shown to cause birth defects.
Don’t take the antidepressants. Many antidepressants are reported to have serious side effects. For instance, Zoloft is reported to cause birth defect and heart defect.
Avoid exposure to toxic substances and chemicals, such as cleaning solvents, lead and mercury, some insecticides, and paint.
