Home Remedies For Blemishes Straight From Your Kitchen

Blemishes are spots or marks or patches of discoloration on skin. Blemishes are also known as zits. Some people are born with certain blemishes such as port-wine stains while others get blemishes later in their lives. Acne (blackheads, whiteheads, pimples etc), boils, pigmentation, rashes, itching, suntan and various other skin problems contribute to blemishing of skin. Blemishes deteriorate one's beauty; they are rather stubborn stigmas on beauty and may be quite embarrassing at times.
Both men and women can acquire blemishes, but women are more susceptible to it. The causes of blemishes are as follows: stress, comedogenics or oily toiletries or cosmetics like night creams, foundations and moisturizers, pollution, contact with irritants like hair or clothing, hyper-active sebaceous or oil glands due to proliferation of androgenic hormones at puberty, hormonal fluctuations in women during menstruation, pregnancy or menopause etc
