Some smart and successful rules of Web Designing and Web Development are being discussed here:

] Banner Advertisements: Don’t try to fill half of the web page by advertisements as by that users have to scroll up many times to reach the actual content of the web page. Most of the users just ignore the banner advertisements so it is always better to opt for clean and creative ad placements which are eye catchy and attractive.

] Splash Page: Splash page is actually the first page which you find when you enter the website. Generally this web page has a big image relevant or sometimes irrelevant to the business with a text “click here to enter the website” which may irritate the visitor and they might leave the website. This may lead to losing substantial amount of traffic.

] Navigation: The navigation menu should be designed in such a way that it is comfortable for every visitor. Not every visitor will be aware of how to work through Flash, Animation or multi-level DHTML menus. Moreover, not every user has JavaScript enabled in their browser. So it is always better to use simple HTML navigation menu.

] ...
... Respect Visitors: You should never try to force visitors to read your content included on your web pages. Instead of that you should try to leave on your visitors that whether they want to read or not. If you have something to read for them than you will definitely find good worth listeners.

] Be Clear: Include what you want to say instead of creating wrong ideas and unneeded distance between you and your visitors.

] Avoid wrong SEO and bad PR: If you perform incorrect SEO continuously than it is possible that sooner or later your website will be banned from the major search engines. The algorithms used by search engines keep on improving every day so at the end the efforts done for SEO won’t be of any use and you end up with the risk of finding yourself with 0 PageRank. Once the reputation goes low it becomes extremely difficult to get a good position again at the top of the web-dev-community.

] Write, Publish, and Feel free to ask: There are always many web developers who always ask same question. Never hesitate to ask or to find out as more clever the question will be, the more likely it is to be answered, so the more people will find your site through search engines.

] Answer emails immediately: You should try to make contact with your potential client as quick as you can. People who tries to contact you or who has sent you mail is well aware that he/she has written to you expecting that you will revert them back. So don’t keep them waiting for long. Reply them back with confident, professional and friendly and feel free to ask questions to them.

] Try to make Web look pretty: CSS, Clear, readable and intelligent web design looks beautiful and appealing.
