Planning a holiday or vacation is one of the most exciting things we all do. Do we want a beach holiday, adventure holiday, sight-seeing holiday or visit a country we just want to visit? I tend to go for countries and places I want to visit and then go about finding out all the best places to visit within that country. In this article I have put together some country holiday destinations and their top attractions to visit.

Mexico
If you're looking for a beach holiday with 5 star hotel accommodations you can't go wrong in Cancun Mexico. The lush beaches are to die for and the hotels just outstanding. Many people believe they are the best beaches in the world and I happen to agree. The beaches are the main attraction really and there are plenty to choose from. There are some great clubs for the younger folk and plenty for families and couples. If you love horses you can go Horseback riding through the jungle (yes there is a jungle) and along the ocean. To view the most beautiful sun set you can take a small 25 minute ferry ride to Isla Mujeres where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, swimming with dolphins and ...
... amazing snorkelling at Garrafon Marine park.

India
India is a vast country and there are thousands of places you can visit, this just depends on whether you head North, South, East or West. Out of the thousands of attractions, I have listed some of the top attractions which bring thousands of people all around the world to visit. You must have heard of the Taj mahal which is located in North India in the city Agra? Agra was once one of the most powerful cities in the medieval world. In the 16th and 17th century Agra was the capital of India. The Taj Mahal which means "Crown Palace" is the most well preserved and architecturally beautiful tomb in the world. Another attraction is the Khajuraho temples are internationally famous for their erotic sculptures that cover the walls. Every spring the stones of Khajuraho come to life during the annual prestigious 7-day Khajuraho Dance Festival.

Africa
Africa is another country which is vast and needs more than one trip to see all the sites. Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (East Africa) is a popular destination for mountain climbers. It is the highest mountain on the African continent and climbing it is a real challenge. Also in Tanzania which is East Africa houses the beautiful Serengeti National Park. Here you can discover 35 species of mammals, including wildebeest, zebra, lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant and giraffe, and over 200 species of birds. A real must for nature lovers.

South Africa has plenty to offer including the Kruger national park which is a taste of 'real africa'. The park is two million hectares which is roughly the same size as Wales! You can do a self-drive or join a guided tour. Cape town is another top location to visit which attracts shoppers keen to browse around the many antique shops, craft markets, flea markets and art gallerie.

London, the capital of England is a great city with plenty of vibrant culture and houses the greatest attractions Britain has to offer. With four World Heritage Sites and over two hundred attractions which are free to enter, there aren't many cities around the world where you can do so much for so little. There are over 300 world class museums and art galleries to choose from, such as the British Museum, Tate Gallery, Natural History Museum and the Science museum to name just a few. England is famous for its Royal family and there are plenty of palaces and royal buildings to admire. London maybe a highly populated city but there are plenty of green areas as there are over 10 famous parks including Hyde Park, Regents Park, Hampstead Heath and Kensington Gardens.
If your going to London and are looking for a cheap place to stay, why not try one of the Hotels Near Hammersmith Apollo, which is a Kensington Hotel in a great location.
