Medical Transcription is the process of converting the tapes which have voice-records of physicians and doctors into clear text format without changing any of the medical terms and its meanings. If you are engaged in medical transcription services you should certainly have basic knowledge of medical terms, and must possess the ability to follow voice instructions, and the ability to type without any grammar and spelling mistake, and should have the talent to sort out things with accuracy. You should be familiar with the modes of operating computer and must have excellent eye-hand coordination skills. Your duties include accurately transcribing the patient related information using correct medical terms and procedures. Sometimes, you may be required to sort out and assemble the medical records and files independently for each patient. Overall, the doctor and the transcriptionist should have complete understanding since they rely on each other in each other's work.
