Cyprus - A Paradise in the Mediterranean

Numerous resaurants of every nationality are in every resort and cater for all tastes and budgets and serve excellent food. When one visits Cyprus food is usually one of the main highlights of the visit.

Cyprus is small, but it offers superb hiking, rock-climbing, mountain biking, skydiving, bungee-jumping, and a host of other outdoors sports. The climate in Cyprus is Mediterranean, meaning that there is plenty of warm sunshine, dry summers and mild winters. From mid-May to mid-September the sun shines on a daily average of around 11 hours and the coastal areas benefit from a balance to the hot, dry Mediterranean climate.
