Does Our Future Include Another Renaissance?
If the world worked towards collective advancement, would it in turn create a problem when referring to the society?
These different areas are crucial for us as a society to pay attention to. Understanding these factors, on an individual basis, will decide whether or not we experience positive growth as a whole, or mass destruction. Even though an effect is collective, the cause is individual.
What things can we perform in order to make this turn into a positive effect. We have answers to this but we still need to look into our history to find them. During the Renaissance period, communities culturally and intellectually boomed. If you want to see a period in which things changed for the worst concerning repression, censoring and general ignorance for others, you should look at the Dark Ages. What makes a significant change in this view? One thing we can look at to solve this problem would be the use of civil rights. The degree to which a human's individual rights were protected, or violated, affected the overall status of the population.
If we don't make a change, will we keep going in circles? ...
... The world's moments of abundance or repression have always been determined by people. We will either come to a point where we fight for these civil rights are we allow them to be breached.
Which point have we presently reached? The Dark Ages is expected to reach the US according to some people who see it as the next step after their long frame of advancement. Shocking to think, is it not? This isn't just a concept that has been adopted by just a few people, but many. Many people use the example of the "fight for terrorism" to understand this concept. There are two points of view on this subject, one that believes it's worth the fight while others think it is taking away our civil rights.
What sorts of precautions can we take so that we don't end up in this position again? There are people and associations whose mission is to help others avoid a collective downward spiral. Take NXIVM, started by Keith Raniere, for example. NXIVM believes humanity already has "the resources, intellect, and creativity that can generate abundance for everyone," and supports individuals in discovering that for themselves. If people could practice awareness, we would all see a drastic change.
We see many things in the media and local news channels that we can personally evaluate because they have a definite effect on the way our civil rights are affected. We can better see ourselves and the things we can do to make a difference if we understand the way the world works. By understanding the way the world works and understanding what we want to get out of it, all we have to do is pay attention to how we feel.
