2011's First Half Emerged As Bwm's All-time Sales Record

BMW’s latest financial report revealed that the first half of 2011 is actually the period when the company reached its all-time sales record to date.
These findings simply show that almost all of the brands that BMW owns and control has experienced boost in sales worldwide. This was probably the result of the company’s intensification of its production of reliable vehicles as well as the provision of budget-friendly auto financing deals to car finders.
Aside from the BMW, the company’s other brands such as Mini and Rolls Royce were also in demand not only for the month of June but also all throughout the end of the first half of this year.
BMW Group was able to sell about 833, 366 vehicles within the first six months of this year. This is 137,000 more than the group’s total vehicle sales in 2010. This increase for this year amounted to 19.7% and might be considered as a good percentage for a car maker faced with a lot of competitors.
The BMW brand alone achieved 12.3% sales increase for this year’s ...
... first half. This improvement on the demands for vehicles bearing the BMW brand can be translated into 689, 861 units sold compared to the 585, 750 disposed in 2010.
This recent achievement by BMW was triggered by the doubling of sales by its X3. The 5-series also emerged as this year’s global leader in the class where it belongs. In addition to this, the X-series also had its best sales for six straight months.
Mini has also contributed on the group’s total sales output. In fact the number of Mini’s sold to new car finders has increased from 109, 302 units on the first half of 2010 to 141, 913 cars for this year’s first half. This can be translated to a 29.8% sales improvement for this year and 1/3 of this was due to the increase in the demand for the Countryman.
Despite the impressive record, the Rolls Royce still emerged as the group’s best performing brand with its 64.1% increase in sales. This means that 1, 592 units of Rolls Royce that were sold from January to June 2011 compared to 970 units sold in 2010 within the same period.
