Whether or not you are a large or small business needing a custom logo design or corporate identity,

What is Logo design?
Logo design is one of many services that a good graphic designer can provide to a professional company that is looking to make an impression on the marketplace. With the absence of a memorable, eye catching and meaningful logo design, a business - no matter how small or large - will fight an uphill battle when it comes to name and brand recognition. With great logo design, a company's name will resonate clearly with all of their custom.
Importance of a Logo design
Logo design plays a vital role in branding and creating a visual ...
... identity for your company. Having a logo for your business is an effective and fast way to reach your potential customers. Perhaps logo design is the best way to create a brand image for your business. Logo design gives an idea about the vision of your company as well as the products and services offered by you. It can also help in getting new opportunities in the business field. In today's competitive era, where every company wants to stay ahead of others, you must have a visually appealing and engaging logo, to make sure that your business flourishes. Logo design services can help in creating the right logo for your company after knowing the nature of your business and analyzing your customers and competitors.
Various types of LOGO design:-
Logos come in all kinds of shapes and sizes however they typically are one of 3 different classifications. Designing a logo is about much more than an exercise in aesthetic. A logo must be a positive depiction of the product or service it represents. When designing a logo, knowing which type of mark would be the most appropriate for the application will help you achieve a stronger solution.

Iconic/Symbolic: - Iconic logos generally feature highly simplified graphics or symbols that reflect an aspect of the company and/or product portrayed. These graphics can be abstract in concept or feature a reasonably accurate depiction of same. Truth to tell, it’s the treatment of the image, as well as the subject matter, that defines an iconic logo. Iconic logos are perhaps the most common and are probably the type of design that comes to mind if you were asked to describe “what is a logo?” Despite their relative simplicity, these logos are often difficult to design – it’s certainly not easy to take complex ideas or concepts and break them down into a few abstract shapes. Doing so requires the services of an experienced designer who is able to understand both the conceptual and technical limitations of developing such a design.

Logotype/Wordmark - A logotype, commonly known in the design industry as a "word mark", incorporates your company or brand name into a uniquely styled type font treatment. Type fonts come in thousands of possible variations, shapes, sizes, and styles, each conveying a slightly different impression upon your intended audience. Script fonts imply a sense of formality and refinement.Of prime consideration when selecting a logotype or wordmark is legibility and ease of recognition, even when reduced to the size required for printing your business cards.

Combination Marks -Combination Marks are graphics with both text and a symbol/icon that signifies the brand image that you wish to project for your company or organization. Concise text can complement an icon or symbol, providing supplemental clarity as to what your enterprise is all about. There are integrated and stand alone combination marks. For instance, Starbucks logo has the text with the graphic integrated, whereas the AT&T logo has the icon separate from the text.
