The present condition in the auto industry encourages every car maker to innovate and produce significant discoveries that are not yet explored by their competitors. This is very important on their part since many new car finders are encouraged to purchase vehicles that are equipped with the latest technology most especially those that are equipped with features, gadgets or systems that are not found in other models. This simply means that the technology found in cars offered for sale to car finders became one of the most effective promotional strategies aside from providing better auto financing deals that could boost sales.

Given this trend, Mazda has been so active in exploring ad producing cars with sophisticated technologies. A good example of this is their production of the rotary engine which serves as the company’s ace in gaining more customers. This engine makes use of unique and sophisticated mechanisms that allows the rotary to stand out against ...
... its rivals. However, Mazda is not yet satisfied with this. Due to this, the company has spent more efforts and money to further improve the rotary engine that they use in most of their vehicles.

As a result of the increased spending and efforts allocated to the engine’s upgrade, Mazda engineers have discovered a major break for its rotary engine also known as the 16X. They have discovered a way to allow the engine to use a unique ignition system but Mazda has not yet made this technology public.

After some time, a report came out that Mazda has discovered a way to replace the spark plugs that the rotary engine is using. They discovered that it is possible to use lasers as part of the engine’s ignition system in place of the spark plugs. They have also known that using laser beams could further boost the engine’s performance since this allows better engine timing as well as cleaner fuel burn.

All they need to do is develop a laser with a size similar to a spark so as to fit each of this on the area where the sparkplugs are attached. Due to this, they might produce lasers with a diameter of about 9mm and a length of 11mm and use this on the 16X before its launch sometime in 2013.
