What Does Your Sleep Position Reveal About Your Personality
We all know that body language in our lives. Sleeping posture is also a kind of body language and even tells us some secrets. If you want an insight into somebody's true personality, then try to catch a glimpse of the way they sleep.
Fetus
Those who tend to curl up in the fetal position to sleep are described as being tough on the outside but soft and sensitive on the inside. They can be shy on first meeting but warm up pretty quickly. More men than women sleep in this position and it is the most common position reported.
Log
This sleeping position involves sleeping on the side with both arms down. The personality traits associated with the log position are social, trusting (maybe gullible) and easy going.
Yearner
People who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it.
Soldier
These sleepers lie on their backs with arms down and kept close to the body. This 8% study is said to be reserved, quiet, ...
... without fuss, and hold themselves and others to a high standard. Soldier sleepers have a higher likelihood for snoring due to the flat-back position, which may not cause them to wake up often but may result in a less restful night's sleep.
Freefall
This sleep position is where you lie face down (on your stomach) with hands beside your head. People who sleep in this position are brash and gregarious.
Starfish
You are highly intelligent and enthusiastic to learn. Yet sometimes you are filled with cranky ideas which people find hard to follow. You take good care of your family, but the problem is you hardly love anybody. A little bit choosy, huh?
Duvet position
Professor Idzikowski also found that one arm or leg sticking out of the duvet is Britain's most common position, followed by both feet poking out the end. One in ten people like to cover themselves entirely with the duvet
Health effect
Now the most common of the above positions is the fetal position. In terms of what positions you should or should not sleep in, if you are sleeping on your back or side then you should be fine. If you need to lie on your front or stomach to fall asleep, then there could be serious issues.
Professor Idzikowski said: "Lying down flat means that stomach contents can more readily be worked back up into the mouth, while those who lie on their back may end up snoring and breathing less well during the night.
There are many drugs about Sleep Aid Otc on the market, but the Best Sleep Aid is Otc Sleep Aid, people who want to have a high-quality sleep should have a try.
