Computer fatigue is not an identifiable syndrome medically speaking but it is possible to become tired from computer usage. Computer fatigue syndrome is becoming more and more endemic as computers become common place in everyday life. Staring at the screen can lead to eyestrain, dizziness, headaches, low energy, and neck, back and shoulder pain. While we may not be able to do away with our computers and gadgets, but we can certainly do something to avoid or reduce such syndrome and keep our physical well being.

Most people just don't realize how enervating working at a computer for long periods of time can be. Just trying to stay focused on the tasks you are doing can be a major challenge. Eyeballs need to be exercised just like any other part of body! Eye strain is a common complaint for computer users. Take adequate breaks from staring at your computer screen. It is recommended that you take a short break every twenty minutes and look out the window. Using eye drop solutions can help but should be a last resort only.

Then it comes with your position. Adjusting to better posture and usage habits can take a little ...
... getting used to, but it's entirely worth the effort. You should sit straight. Check that your desk is set up in an ergonomically accurate manner. Check that the desk height is accurate, that the mouse runs smoothly, and that the screen height is appropriate for your height. Make sure there is an adequate distance between you and your computer monitor. Don’t get too close. Look at where your keyboard is right now. Okay, now let your arms fall down by your sides. Bring your forearms up so that your elbows are bent at a ninety-degree angle. Keep your wrists straight when using tools but try not to use splints.

Then see whether your computer screen setting is appropriate. Change your computer monitor settings and try to find something that is neither too bright nor poorly lit but strikes the right balance.

Don’t sit in front of the computer for too long; perform conditioning and stretching exercises every one or two hours, or just stand up and walk around.

In this information age, most of us cannot work without a computer, so just use your computer in a correct and healthy way by following the above steps. I hope you found these 3 tips on how to stay focused and increase your productivity while working at the computer helpful.
