The new Sony Ericsson Arc is one of the most advanced handsets out there, and arguably one of the best looking. Whilst it is an accomplished all rounder, it excels at multimedia functionality. In this article I will look at some of the features which make it a great device for multimedia use.

Screen
The Sony Ericsson Arc boasts an advanced LED-backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen. Not only is it responsive and intuitive to use but also offers outstanding display quality. This is thanks to the pixel resolution of 480x 854, within which up to 16 million individual colours can be displayed for a rich multimedia experience. Viewing photos and videos on this screen is a treat as is gaming, surfing the web or even just navigating the Timescape UI in general. Of course the handset can also browse the web, supports multiple messaging formats as well as many other standard smartphone features.
