1.Don’t sit with your ankles or legs crossed.
2.Don’t sit or stand for a long time. Take frequent breaks. You need good blood circulation in your body, so walk as often as you can.
3.Whenever you find it convenient put your feet up. If you are at work, then under your desk you can keep a pile of books or a stool to put your feet on.
4.When at home, you should lie on your left side as much as possible.
5.While sitting, stretch your legs as many times as possible. Start with the heel and then flex your foot gently. This will help the calf muscles to stretch. Wiggle your toes and rotate your ankles.
6.Avoid wearing stocking and stocks with tight elastic bands.
7.Drink loads of water, as it eventually helps your body to retain less water.
